Seems like I'm an alien who knows nothing about Earth. I listened to a song by Amy Winehouse last Friday on the CBC show called Q. For the life of me I had never but never heard of her before.
Man I like her! Will go get her album soon. I've been like that with popular music for years. Not really following what is new and happening. Don't even ask me who the Smashing Pumkins are!
Anyway, I love Winehouse's stuff. It fits right there with my old Motown stuff! Now if she could only break the habit so she can release more cool album in the future. If she ever makes it in Calgary, I'll have to go see her concert.
